Default So who plays the VH tunes if VH themselves won't?

Green Day played for the Ramones.
    Metallica played for Sabbath.

Who plays for Van Halen if they refuse to play?

and mods, if this should be elsewhere, feel free, but I think this is definitely a good stand-alone topic that we shouldn't have to sift through 5+pages of another thread to find.

I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em. -

Nah, it needs to be a band that people other than the posters here and the army know.

Crue or Aerosmith wouldn't be too bad, but I'm not sure that Mick Mars or Joe Perry would be up to it.
Probably would be better to have an all-star band.

    How about:
    Zakk Wylde
    Billy Sheehan
    Tommy Lee
    Billy Idol

They could tear up the old stuff.

    I was really just joking.

It disgusts me that they might not perform.

ANY band worth their salt wouldn't even attempt a VH tune unless they were supremely confident they could do it justice, especially with the band in attendance.....I think alot of quality bands would be intimidated !

That being said.....If they didn't like the rendition, maybe they'd realize that they should've done it themselves !

Not a bad lineup -- although not sure about Billy Idol singing.

How about Sebastian Bach?? It'll give him something to do.

Weezer wouldn't be a terrible choice.

The best idea might be a supergroup of guys influenced by them, certainly wouldn't be hard to put together.

    Thats a trick question.

You can't play a Van Halen song without Mike singing his harmonies.
