Default Bands You Can't Wait To See New Albums From In 2007 (Merged Thread)

All in all, I dunno about you guys but I'm totally hyped up about next year, coz it's like all of my favorite bands are expected to have new releases! Plus add the chance of newcomers (for the lack of those this year), it would at least be entertaining, to see all the album popping up one after another. Anyway, the list:

Avril Lavigne - I've heard the song which would make her new album, and it really is good. Plus it's Avril, goddamnit. I'd buy a CD of her singing covers by Bon Jovi for Christ's sake.

The Used - I'm expecting waaaaaaaay to much from them, so there are only two options - it would either be my next most favorite album, or it would suck every song of it. Their drummer's departure doesn't seem any promising though. But I can do nothing else other than just waiting for what comes next while biting my fingernails here.

Linkin Park - believe it or not, that QWERTY song made me excited. I haven't been following what that band was up to since Meteora AT ALL, plus it would be like 4 years since their sophomore release (wow ), but that's the album which has a chance of a surprise IMO

From Autumn To Ashes - I don't think they'll ever touch the greatness of their first album, nontheless. They're like my second all-time favorite band, I'm just abit curious if they wouldn't decide to alter their style even further than they did circe their 3rd album.

Glassjaw - I have no clue what their new album could possibly sound like, after Palumbo's Head Automatica project . Plus it's been literally years since their last release, and it's long past the time when they were pioneers of the genre. But I'm still curious.

Eisley - Oh god i CAN'T WAIT!! I'm sure it would be awesome, based on all the new EPs and live demos.

Bullet For My Valentine - Probably my most expected album next year, this band started so well it could only get better

Jimmy Eat World - it's amazing how after half a dozen of albums their last one seems to be their best stuff ever. I really really can't wait their new record.

Bright Eyes - Bright Eyes rock my socks.

Ozzy Osbourne - plus Zakk .
There are actually tons of other bands which can come up with new stuff as well, but these are the uberly-top ones. And no, I don't expect anything from Van Halen.

I used to wonder why he was grinning all the time(Michael Ian Black talkin about EVH on VH1 I love the 80's) but then i realized the reason he's grinning is because he's Eddie F*#king Van Halen

Dream Theater and Rush. If these two bands released their albums around the same time and did a co-headlining tour together, it would be a prog fan's wet dream.

I'll also back up some more Rush...hopefully it the songs will be in the same vein as Vapor Trails, (and the production be head and shoulders better)

The Black Crowes, interested to see that soap oprea's next twist

    Something, anything from Jimmy Page

Velvet Revolver, and G n' R, someday Chinese Democracy will have to be released

Some new Van Halen, along the lines of Me Wise Magic would be stellar

    The White Stripes

    Judas Priest, Dokken

I'd include Motley Crue but the band isn't even close, looks like Nikki spoke too soon.
