"Dog Fights" on the History Channel...

I'm aware of the fact that there are some aircraft fans out there on the links, along with some war history buffs, so here's something both may enjoy: It's a show called "Dog Fights", presented each Friday night on the History Channel.

The show consists of computer generated recreations of famous air battles, with the participants (if available) on hand to describe the action taking place. The computer work is pretty decent (similiar to a good video game), providing one with an easy grasp of what is taking place.

This being the History Channel, one must check ahead on the various times and listings. For instance, the local paper here states that the show will be on Wednesday evening(Nov. 8th) at 11PM(EST) as well as Friday(Nov. 10) at 10PM(EST).

I think it's a fairly decent show, as rather than a group of talking heads sitting around and waxing nostalgic, these veterans are witty and engaging, plus the visuals truly help out the presentation.

I've seen bits and pieces of episodes. Definitely a very cool show!

That pilot just went to prison for corruption as a Congressman.

I like the show but when I saw the title of this thread I thought it was about Lindsey Lohan and Paris Hilton going at it.
