No shit. That's the way they should always do that one. I remember seeing it on that tour and being blown away when the rest of the band came in, so dramatic.

    Default Love It

I have a bootleg disk of this version. It flat out gives me chills. I know Sammy overplayed the song, and it got old...but you can tell it's a real personal song to Sammy...when the rest of the band kicks in...it's just awesome. Ed's playing there is so understated and beautiful...I know that's not what you want out of your Van Halen, but c'mon...it's fuckin awesome.

That show was awesome. All the clips I've heard and seen from that over the years, that show always stays in my head. Different than the Roth era, but to me just as good (because all 4 were participating, not 3 1/2 (Roth live vocals on most shows were almost non-existant (not counting Oakland '81)- but I still love Dave too so don't trash me. They were the best with either of these guys, period.).

You know, as much as I hate to say it, that Toronto show was like the finale.

After that show, it was all WAY down hill.
