    VH1 Classic/BBC concerts

Those of you with Tivo/DVRs may want to check out the BBC concerts that are on VH1 Classic right now. Old shows from the late 70's. I haven't watched all the ones from this weekend yet, but they look pretty good.

The Police (scanning through it, I think it was just after the first record)
    Lynard Skynard- complete original(?) lineup
AC/DC- after "let there be Rock" was released. Bon in fine form
    Faces
    Tom Petty

This series, along with the "classic album" series, have me watching this channel quite a bit lately. I just watched the Dark Side of the Moon one this weekend as well.
Don't drink the Jim Jones punch. They're called theToxic Twins for a reason...

Artimus Pyle wasn't on the first album or two, although this seems to be what is considered the "classic lineup".

I've been keeping up with these and I REALLY enjoyed The Police show. I'd seen bits and pieces of that one over the years but never had seen the whole thing before. What a phenominal band they were...

My advice is to go for the alien abduction story. Look bemused, dishevelled and on the verge of tears as you recount your story of intrusive and degrading medical tests.
Worked for me anyway. I still have colleagues asking me what it is like to fuck a green womanoid with seventeen breasts.
Alternatively just walk in and inform everyone that alcoholism is indeed a disease and that they should be less judgemental and perhaps a little more supportive."

    Indeed. My second fave band.

Wish they'd release an official Police BBC sessions album like they did with Zep, the Stones, and the Kinks.

I watched the Faces show, very good. As a side note, Chris Robinson from the Crowes stole his whole act from Rod Stewart.
By the way, I'm not real good with baby-steps. My specialty is ass-kicking. -DLR
