It's not an album, but it is new, and it is official. Found in December issue of Guitar one in an article titled "A Private Lesson With Steve Lukather".

Quote: "I did my new Christmas record in six days...Ninety percent of the solos were live, except for guests who played on it. Eddie Van Halen played on "Joy to the World," which is like "Hot For Teacher" space boogie tempo."

Not much, I know, but he's still out there guys.

Peace!

Due to some problems with Lukather's label, the album will ne be released this Christmas, but will be avasilable next year?
If you can't do it in a white t-shirt and a pair of jeans under one lightbulb, you can't do it!

Label problems?

Shouldn't Van Halen and Lukather be writing a blues album about getting screwed by labels and lawyers? Oh wait - they probably did, but lawyers and label problems got in the way.
