Default Bon Jovi is better than Van Halen

Speaking of music, the Cubs are 11-9 when organist Gary Pressy plays Bon Jovi's "Have a Nice Day" before the game starts. The Cubs are 10-9 when he plays Van Halen's "Jump."

The Cubs are 65-94 (really thought this was going to be their year too)

Um, well, since the Cubs haven't won since Glenn Miller was hip, don't know if this comparison matters.

The curse of the goat lives on!

Yes, the title could have meant trouble had the content of the post been different.

The Twins are 94-64, headed to the playoffs, likely have the AL batting champ on the team (Joe Mauer), also likely have the Cy Young award winner (Johan Santana), and maybe have the league MVP (Justin Morneau). They take the field each home game to "Right Now," and either "Panama" or "You Really Got Me" play right after the 7th inning stretch.

Combining baseball and Van Halen: Priceless.

The Cubs have not won since Bach and Wagner had music playing through megaphones at Wrigley.
