I think you had to be alive at the time it came out to truly appreciate Spicoli and co.

    Awesome flick btw.

Sounds like we need a RIP VH thread or a thread for reminiscing.

Jeez, does anybody think of that song by the Little River Band now?

And Alex is in the movie!

When it comes down to making out, whenever possible, put on side one of Led Zeppelin IV.

Best line in that flick -- "Hey, this is great iced tea." Just for the delivery.

    SOME VH LINKS CLASSICS

"Sammy is fat, Dave is bald, Mike is next in line to be the Pope, Eddie is a drunk, Wolfie is fat, Gary is gay, CVH is VH, Mike is VH, Sammy can outsing Dave on a tequilla hangover, Eddie is a meth head, How Many Say I is the worst VH song ever, Up for Breakfast is a close second, Dave was horrible at radio and everybody hates the assless chaps.
Ok I think that covers everything." Ziggysmalls

"I sense that some of our newer passengers may be nervous due to the sudden turbulence. Please be seated, this is simply a normal part of the periodic ride.
I didn't say we'll get to the destination, but until Alex comes out a says what a complete waste of carbon DLR is, we're still climbing, so strap yourselves in.
Those of you who have been on this ride before, the hottie in the mini will be around shortly with your drinks......." Red

So, he is saying he is two years younger than he is probably, hm?
He must have listened to Dave's advice.

(Dave's age reduction idea was brilliant. But it was lost on Ed.)

The title of this thread reminds me of Rodney Dangerfield for some reason.

Like, VH was so great. How great were they? They were so great, why.........

Anyhoo, yeah that's my ol' senility babbling away again. Sorry.

    RIP Rodney.

I agree, you'd have to be actually old enough at the time Fast Times came out to actually appreciate it.
