    Default new house of lords cd

    is due out may 19th with two of my good friends playing on the album, jimi bell on guitar and bj zampa on drums. check out www.jimibell.com for more info on this.

    house of lords will be the opening act for whitesnake in spain for a rock fest that will be taking place this summer.

    if you ever heard of the house of lords they were from the 80s and they put a new cd out a few months ago called world upside down the cd kicks ass. two of mt good friends are on the album jimi bell on guitar and bj zampa on drums. they also play in the local band diamondback here in connecticut. if you want to check out the cd you can go to jimis site at www.jimibell.com it is worth it. and you can read jimis bio and also bj's.

    they will be in connecticut in milford sept 20 at daniel street. the new cd world upside down kicks ass. and anyone in ct that knows diamondback knows jimi bell and bj zampa. they play and have been touring europe with the house of lords. this is their first u.s. date as of know then they are off to europe for more touring. jimi and bj are still with diamondback doing that in between tour dates. so come check them out.

    Jimi Bell smokes, I have seen him several times with Back In Black and once with Diamondback. I have to get the disk.

    Weren't these guys managed by Gene Simmons at one point, or on his record label or something?

    Fun fact - House of Lords, was also the name of a hairdressing salon/chain here in Toronto.

    I went there for 10 years back in the 70s/80s... they were great stylists...

    VH trivia:

    The owner, who I got to know was a good friend of Roth's and supposedly the band partied all night in his apartment (above the salon) after their 1980 WACF Maple Leaf Gardens show. He was telling me stories that Ed played guitar in his living room for 4 hours straight and everyone was blown away.
