Carl's Jr coming to Canada !!!

I just heard that Carl's Jr is FINALLY coming to Canada!

This burger joint is popular out there in the West Coast and it's parent company Hardee's is the burger place out here in the left coast.

Great news for one of the best burger places around!

"“We had a lot of fun on the tour – Dave was a blast. And next time we go out, we’re going to have some new stuff, too. I’m looking forward to getting on it. I’ve got tons of music written, such a variety of stuff… Actually, next week or the week after, Wolfie, Alex, and I are gonna start jamming. Maybe we’ll give Dave a call and see what he’s up to.” - Edward Van Halen ~ 2009

Er....dude. FYI, Carl's Jr. kinda sucks.

Now if this announcement had heralded a Canuck chain of In N Outs, or maybe even White Castles, then you'd have something to trumpet about.

Maybe Canada's short on the burger pyramid, I dunno. Carl's is right down there with McD's, BK, and Jack as far as grease patties go.

Hell, I'm on the "Left Coast" and we don't have Hardees, Carl's, or In & Out Burger. Or Sonic either, despite the fact that their commercials are on TV all the damn time.

What I want to know is when you Hosers are gonna start building Tim Horton's on this side of the border.

    Welcome back, Van HALEN!!!!

...It's the BAND and Dave is really the cat that can front VH. He sang his ASS off and was really cool. No cheese here guys, this is filet Mignon! - Steve Lukather's comment after witnessing a Van HALEN 2007 rehearsal

Oh really? I heard so much about the great $6 burger Carl's has. I've tried Hardee's in Myrtle Beach and that was a great burger.

Us Canucks always find out last about the burger joint business.

Actually, I wish we had a Chick-Fil-A chain here, the best Chicken Sandwich anywhere!

There are a few Timmie's already open just over the border in New York state.

I'm not sure how well they would do in Cali. Maybe call the donut joint Gretzky's instead of Tim Hortons.

They would never do that. Gretzky can build his own restaurant there if he wanted too. He already has one in Toronto, I went there, it is nice.

I've been to his restaurant in Toronto and the perogies are to die for!

Nah, a Gretzky donut shop would never work out there on the left coast but Gretzky seems like the only Canadian household hockey name that would work.

    Carl's Jr/Hardees tastes like shit.
CHICAGO WHITE SOX - 2005 WORLD CHAMPIONS

The Chicago White Sox (1901-present) - The Original SOX - Proof

    The Boston Americans (1901)
    The Boston Somersets (1902)
    The Boston Pilgrims (1903-1906)
The Boston Red Sox (1907-present) - Proof

The Pilgrims/Americans/Somersets whatever you want to call them, have NEVER displayed "SOX" anywhere on their caps, jerseys, or merchandise, therefore they shouldn't be referred to as such. However, the White Sox have used "SOX" since 1912.

The SOX are in Chicago...we just allow the Pilgrims/Americans/Somersets to use the name.
