    Default Pseudo fans killed VH

It is sad, all "fans" who write there things like - VH III CD is good as frisbee, or "I'm ashamed because of that i got this album in my CD player - they ruined VH, that's why Ed is not making new music, and they are offending him - because VH III is the most frankly album made by Eddie - it's really him. It's Eddie who said VHIII is the most important album in his life. After lot of best selling albums he decided to make an album not to masses but to real fans, and he was mistaken, because lot of "fans" like VH just because Jump, WCTBL and other pop songs, and some of them only because of latex and pants which dont cover Roth's ass (look at cover of his "best of " album released by rhino).

Those VH camps and destroying Cherone are just pathetic.

1Van Halen fans seem to be in 'camps.' We are in the "Only Van Roth is REAL Van Halen" camp or we're in the "Only the Van Hagar Van Halen is the REAL Van Halen camp" or we're in the "I don't care if it's Dave or Sammy but it damn well ain't Gary" camp etc etc.

    2. Forgive me, but all the positives that Hagar and Roth brought and as cool as they were in their own ways, I don't think they can hold a candle to Cherone in as much as pure singing ability QUOTE]

Sorry for multiple post (even though I modified it, but I was shocked nobody answered earlier. Does it mean all VHIII haters are happy with that Eddie is not making new music ???
(Don't talk bout 3 songs from 2004 BOBW sessions - they are so mediocre, because were made with no passion, were made to make happy everyone, "an average guy", not to satisfy VH fans and EVH personally)

III's in the middle. It's not great Van Halen, but it's not shit soup. I can't help but like Ballot or Bullet.

Put me in the "I don't care if it's Dave or Sammy but it damn well ain't Gary" camp. Van Halen 3 is a steaming pile of dog shit. It's total crap.

Don't be shy. Say what you feel!

It's definetly isn't mainstream VH. I still don't think it's all bad. I'll take Sammy or Dave though.

Agree completly.. I still like Josephina and A Year to the Day, even though it's a bit over the top.

A year to the day! I forgot that one. Yeah that was good. Very unconventional VH.

True fans have to like everything and anything Eddie does, otherwise they're 'pseudo-fans?'

That's like saying in order to like chocolate ice cream, you must like all kinds of ice cream.

I'm not trying be a wise-ass at all, I swear. But how are we supposed to take you serious when you list VH3 as your favorite album? Seriously, how is that possible that an VH fan could actually say VH3 is their favorite album?

I think any objective VH fan with a sense of understanding of this bands history and their impact on the rock world would have to list VH3 at the very bottom of all Halen releases. How could you not? And for the record, I was ecstatic at the time when I heard Cherone was going to be the third singer. I thought he was a great choice. But no matter how many times I listened to VH3 I always came to the same conclusion: it sucked ass then and it sucks even more now. Just an absolute black mark on this bands history.
