"You may recognize some of these chemicals. Let's start with cyanide...The one the Aum Shinrikyo cult attempted to use to commit mass murder in a Tokyo subway in May 1995...The same cyanide produced routinely--1.4 million tons per year--for use in the production of plastics, adhesives, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and so on. It seems that those who put small amounts of cyanide in subways are terrorists. But those who produce it in mass quantities and contaminate broad reaches of soil, water, and air, killing countless living beings, are not terrorists, but rather capitalists, and are counted among the finest and most powerful people on the planet."

Just saw Billy Joel about two months ago at a sold-out Carrier Dome in Syracuse--great show! Hands down it's gotta be the Piano Man for me.

I like Billy Joel but I don't think even in his prime Billy measures up to Elton's run of classic albums and singles in the early to mid seventies. Plus Elton gets points from me because he is still putting out new music whereas Billy just seemed to give up after River of Dreams.

"Its Still Rock And Roll To Me" - hands down, Billy Joel. Never really got into Joe Cocker or Elton John (although I will admit, EJ is a helluva songwriter).

Wow tough choice for me it was between Joe & Sir Elton. Billy Joel wasn't even close to this equation for me. He's still a bit new to me (yeah I'm old). Elton can't sing a bad tune to me - well except for that I'm Still Standing song. Joe Cocker sings with so much feeling.

    Like I said, tough choice.

Billy Joel. He fucked Christie Brinkley!

Seriously though, I like his music more so than that of Elton John or Joe Cocker.
