Heard about that yesterday. That's great news if it works.

Wants to start injecting girls at 9 yrs old?

I saw this on the news last night also. CBS evening I think, and they put the headline on as "cure for cancer". I thought I was going to be watching a serious landmark event, which I guess it is to a degree, but just a *tad* different than what they were drumming up. It prevents two virus's that typically infect and cause the cervical cancer. Bravo all around. This is a shitty way for a woman to go.

Merck should do pretty damn well off it too. Probably will bail them out on the vioxx problem and have plenty of change left over. I checked their stock today and it hasn't done much.

The viruses are so prevalent it seems most of the women I know have had a scare or someone in their immediate family.

Yeah, the early ages of injection are cause for some concern for me as well, but if I were a woman of at least 18 I would definately do it.
