....on VH1 sometime ago, it was during their morning news/video program, about reunions and The Mighty Van Halen? I find myself watching VH1 in the mornings (put that match out!) hoping to hear some news about the boys. When one day the words reunion and Van Halen were used in the same sentence. I waited with bated breath only to realize they were doing a poll. They interviewed some younger kids (one was a skate board type whos head had met the pavement too many times) and they really didn't even know who DLR was. Hell, is that the state of our younger generation, when they think that the only classic rock dates back to Nirvana? (BTW, I hated Nirvana) Did anyone else see this? This lets me know that someone at VH1 wants it too. Hell, they may even post here for all I know.

Dude most of today's youth's music taste is so bad they wouldn't know the difference between good music and bad music. We need kids more like Mean_Street to spread the word.

Those same kids probably never heard of the Beatles either.

Maybe the younger generation needs a crash course in
'DLR Fundamentals 101'.

Agreed. Hell when I was a kid my parents tried to turn me onto Sinatra. I didn't really like it then but I love Sinatra now.

In our music class. there arent very many kids because we're the ones that dont play Violin or woodwins (?) and my math teacher brings in music and we listen to it, we havent really yet. but she said she would bring in some stones, beatles, zep.
IF VAN HALEN could come back and make some kick butt music, tat would prove to my friends why i like them and think that they are the greatest band ever. (i'm obsessed)

Seems like DLR himself could use a crash course in 'DLR Fundamentals'!!!
