    Default OVERKILL!!!!!!!!!!

Lemme tell ya people, Overkill are said to be the FIRST THRASH METAL BAND to ever EXIST! I've known about them since 2000 I think, and recently (this wasn't the first time I've seen it), I saw the episode of Beavis & Butt-head called "Pumping Iron", which features the video for "Hello From The Gutter", and I just felt an urge to own their "Taking Over" and "Under The Influence" CDs. I also got a vinyl copy of the latter on the way. Overkill really know how to rock, but some of their stuff bothers me a bit (eg "Deny The Cross", "Fear His Name"). I don't think their satanists, because I remember them playing at some concert one time that I think was to benefit September 11th, but I don't know for certain. I HOPE they aren't satanists....

They've been around longer than Anthrax (1983)?

I'm not too into thrash metal but I bought Taking Over back in the day. I love In Union We Stand. They even had a video for it on Headbanger's Ball. Great tune.
