Yeah, that's him man. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think he was on the Letterman show even then. That looks to be around 86 or 87.

No it's not just you....I had the same impression the minute I saw Val's face. She looks like she's got a very nice buzz going there....good for her.

Yep. I had the pleasure of meeting Will at the University of Texas at San Antonio when he spoke to our music class back in '91. I actually got my picture in the S.A. paper with him...LOL!

GREAT guy. Very funny and a MASSIVE musician. You wouldn't BELIEVE just how many records he's played on over the years and how many commercials you hear him sing on TV & radio (numbers in the THOUSANDS). He's the guy who did the vocal for the "Teddy Grahams" commercial that was all over TV back then (among MANY others).

His dad, as far as I know, is still the Dean of Music at UTSA and the clinic Will gave there was kind of a favor for his pop...

Will Lee is part of one kick ass band. They are incredible. I wish they would do a show that featured just the band doing stuff on Letterman.

Back when Letterman was on NBC, his annual special always included a segment where Paul Shaffer recruited an "all-star" band.

I remember one year they had Dylan do Like A Rolling Stone and Paul had the house band PLUS Billy Joel, Carole King, Jow Walsh, Steve Vai, Warren Zevon, David Sanborn and others. Very cool.

A good anniversary show 'all-star' band was the year they had Stevie Ray Vaughan as their focal point along w/ Tower of Power, Poncho Sanchez, David Sanborn. Sounded great and Dave's bits were hilarious. Played 'Call Me Guitar Hurricane', 'Them Changes' 'Let's Dance' and Gerry Rafferty's 'Baker Street' maybe? Good to here SRV on some material outside of his normal bag.

Wish they'd cook something up for a CBS 'anniversary' show.
