    Default Gary singing Romeo Delight

    Anybody else have this song?
I have a live version of it from somewhere in Pa.

He fucking kicked ass on that song as he did on the Dave era shit they did.
He didn't sound as good doing the Sammy tunes though except for Humans Being and maybe WCTBL.

The whole band sounded great on that tour in particular on Romeo Delight.

Is this version from PA? Or Tokyo?

Either way, it really is a killer version....and I'm a big time VH3 hater.

Eddie and the rest of the band for that matter, and this has been said over and over, but they sure sounded great on that VH3 tour. Ed was spectacular. I'd be willing to put money on it, that its probably his best live performances technically in his career. If you watch the old days with dave it was amazing, but often times sloppy. On that gary tour, it was just awesome. Ah the memories.

Ouch , I really didn`t care for Gary singing that but he was giving it a hell of an effort. I remember really liking it back in `98 live but I guess I was If you`ve got any of the 1981 boots Dave does a killer job on Romeo Delight , much better that the sloppy 1982/83 versions.

No shit. I love Dave, but in most live footage I hear he can't remember the words to many of the songs, and it totally ruins the "classic" experience.

Oops, I meant to say Sydney, Australia. Also, I listened to this again for the first time in years and he even says "thank you Pennsylvania!" at the very end. Sorry for my ignorance!

I saw Gary do Romeo Delight at Madison Square Garden and it was great! The crowd really go into it, too. I thougth Gary also did a fine job with other classic songs, such as Mean Street, Unchained, DTNA/FYLT, etc.

Gary killed on that song. I've got a few great recordings of him on that song and they all sound awesome and tight. Gary did a spectacular job on Mean Street as well, I thought.
