Default Eddie & Sammy at Farm Aid

    Hey all,

I apologize if this has been on this board before (I'm sure it probably has).

Does anybody have the ENTIRE performance Eddie and Sammy did at Farm Aid in Champaign,Il (Memorial Stadium, the University of Illinois campus) in September of 1985? They did LZ's "Rock and Roll" (which everybody has already), and then Eddie did a bit of a solo which lead into "Wild Thing". My brother was there and he said the version of "Wild Thing" was great. I've heard about how good that was for 20 years now and I want to hear it. I know The Nashville Network cut Eddie and Sammy off just after they finished Rock and Roll because of Sammy's language, so we didn't get to see the rest.

    Thanks everybody!

"F" THE ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not sure where to get that. Maybe try sucka over at guitars101.

I was there also. It was awesome. That was their 1st show together. Sammy said "we didn't have time to work up any van halen so were just gonna play some stuff we were raised on" (or something like that). I think there like 80 thousand of us. We carried in 2 plastic quart bottles of freakin straight vodka and drank them between 3 of us People were selling trash bags for rain coats and were making a killing...
