Same here. Not a skippable track on the entire Jailbreak album if you ask me.

I am a big Lizzy fan. I saw them live in 1983 in Galway on their 'Thunder and Lightning' tour. It was my first ever concert at the tender age of 13.....and my ears are still ringing! This was sadly to be their last tour as Thin Lizzy as Phil soon broke up the band soon after and formed a new band called Grand Slam. Sadly, Philo died in 1986. Thin Lizzys finest album is regarded by most Lizzy fans to be 'Live and Dangerous' and I couldn't agree more. It is usually in any serious rock fans Top Ten live albums of all time list...its just class, Cowboy Song' is my fave, just listening to the twin axe of Scott Gorham and Brian Robertson pelting out that riff is spine shivering. So if you are reading this and you haven't got 'Live and Dangerous' then please do yourself a favour and get it, you will not be dissapointed...so all together now...."I am just a cowboy lonesome on the trail, a starry night, a campfire light, the coyote call, the howling winds wail..."
A woman drove me to drink...and I never had the decency to thank her!

Since the initial publication of the charted electromagnetic spectrum, humans have learnt that what they can touch, smell, see and hear is less than one billionth of reality.

Cowboy Song is one of my faves as well. It's funny you bring up Live and Dangerous because I was on Amazon.com looking to purchase it this morning. Think I'll go head and grab it.

I made a Lizzy thread a long, long time ago. They must have pioneered the twin guitar sound. I was thinking of getting their live DVD a while ago but never got around to it...

Chris , have you got the Fighting cd yet? I can almost guarantee you`ll like it. It came out right before Jailbreak , get that and Live & Dangerous. L&D has some killer tunes like Johnny The Fox,Still in Love With You and The Rocker to name a few. Dude I had a feeling you started this thread.

That`s one of those overplayed classic rock tunes that I never get tired of,whenever it comes on I crank it to 10. Phil Lynott was such an awesome songwriter and a very underrated bass player.
