Default Dave plays bluegrass versions of "Jamie's Cryin'" and "Jump"...

I'm not a fan of the bluegrass stuff, but there are some good parts here and there and Dave's voice is stellar on both songs. Check them out here...

They're about 3/4 of the way through the clip.

On no DLR is going country, he's not a rock guy anymore. I guess his next venture will be his own brand of tequila. I figure since the DLR fans bashed Sammy when he talked about his new album, I'd throw some sarcasm back.

Seriously though, that's pretty cool. DLR needs to get in the studio and do a new album.

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehhh Haaaaaaaawwwww. Jamies Cryin was ok and the only good part about Jump was the banjo solo. I think it is a disgrace to Van Halen's music that Dave even thinks this project is cool.
    Just go for it!

On another note, it sounds like the intro of Bluegrass Jump was ripped off from Kansas' Point of No Return. Is Steve Morse the banjo player?
    Just go for it!

Amen Brew, its amazing to me that the usual assortment of Dave supporters think this is worthy of actually buying. Bluegrass? You've got to be kidding me. When Dave does an actual album, something he hasn't managed in nearly seven years (no, I don't count the Diamond Dave album, it was mostly covers and most of them sucked), I'll be the first in line to pick it up. Take off your Dave-colored glasses guys, this just sucks.

There are WAY too many people on this board who feel the need to thread crap and bash the "other" singer!!

BTW...You can go to CDUniverse and find the cd listing...there are 30 sec clips of every song on the album.
