    DLR Plays & Sings Live on SHOW!!(april 7, 7-8am)

I was just listening to this mornings Roth Radio Show (APRIL 7, 7-8am) and Diamond Dave is playing guitar and singing songs like "Ice Cream Man" and "Women and Children First". He sounds great on guitar and his voice sounds EXCELLENT!!! I was getting chills! Hurry up and listen before it's gone!!!

Dave was always an OK strummer in my mind, but I had no clue he was that good with his picking.

    Unreal.

    Very cool.
Awesome to hear a bit of Could This be Magic and Ice Cream Man.
There is a video boot (mine is called Latin Assault) out there where Dave does an acoustic "Ode to Argentina" that flat out smokes. He has the audience just going off and right in the palm of his hand. Oh to be king for a day.

I don't get why he doesn't do more of this.
I thought that's what he'd make his show about -
just have people on and kick it.

    That gave me chills.

Dave's show could be so great. He needs to sing more, either by himself or have musical guests come in to play their own songs and/or play with Dave.
If he did that and had at least one real celebrity guest every day, he'd really have something.

That was a great listen. Dave's niche is talking about music. He should be doing a weekly show on satellite or something. Listening to Dave play "Could This Be Magic" unaccompanied, it got me wondering why Dave didn't play that for his solo spot way back when, rather than do the Tai Chi routine.

I didn't listen to the whole show, did it seem as if Dave picked up the guitar cold and played CTBM, or did it seem like a preplanned idea? Considering who knows the last time he performed that song, I'd be even more impressed if he did it cold.

    Very cool.

I always thought David should do a music-oriented show - much like Alice Cooper's. I can't stand Alice's broadcasting style, but his back stories and music knowledge keep me listening.

Dave could fill time with music in between stories.
