    2. What bands do you just have the greatest hits only?

    I have most of the albums by:Van Halen, Bon Jovi, Cheap Trick, and Styx, Rush, Pink Floyd,

    I have only greatest hits by: Sammy Hagar, Poison, Motley Crue, Genesis, Guns 'N Roses, Aerosmith, The Police, John Mellencamp, Def Leppard, David Bowie, Grand Funk Railroad, No Doubt, U2, Loverboy,J. Geils Band,

    I only have all six of the Classic Van Halen Albums with Roth. With Hagar was a different band IMHO. For me I look at my 6 CVH albums has the complete collection.

    Yeah, I haven't had that completist compulsion since CVH ended.
    And now in the iPod era, it's rare that I collect albums in their entirety
    from anyone, save for say CVH, Led Zep, and a coupla other classics like
    OK Computer and Deloused in the Comatorium. Even with my faves,
    there's almost always a few tracks from any given album that I ditch
    from the pod. Why take up space with songs I'm not interested in?
    So, in a sense, all my collections these days are my own personal 'Best Ofs'.

    That said, a few GH packages that are in themselves must haves where
    virtually every track is gold:

    The Cars GH
    Rolling Stones: Rewind
    Police: Singles
    Pretenders: Singles
