God, that is just unlistenable. He's such a bull-shitting bag of wind that in the end he says absolutely nothing.
Sammy did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it.
Michael did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it.

Thanks to the DLR Forums guys for putting that up. I thought it was an interesting listen, but out of seven minutes all you really get is a nice story about how Roth and Mikey were the two guys who "got stuff done" in the old days, and DLR talking about how easy it would be to get the original line-up back together, for a tour if nothing else.

Like I say, I enjoyed it, but don't get your hopes up.

Great there are a least a cds worth of new killer VH tracks according to Dave and Mike. And what did we get instead...in 2003 we got the cd DIAMOND DAVE!! WOW! Full of covers, It had to kill Dave to record that cd knowing what lay behind the 5150 vaults! And lets not forget the great track from Sammy.. Up For Breakfast. Why God Why!!!!!

    Well said bro,

It was pretty frustrating to listen to it just because it still isn't as close to reality as he makes it sound. Cool stories about him and Mike though.

He was so true however in stating a closure needs to occur. He didn't seem too interested in a permanent type of deal.

At least Dave referred to Mike as Mike and not as "the bass player."

    That's progress.

Hopefully Alex will chime in and say a few things. I am hopeful that this is not the end of the comments from the members. Like Dave said, Mikey got things going when the band needed things. Well, Mikey and Dave want some sort of closure....and so do I.
    Just go for it!

I think we all need closure of the once mighty VH as we knew them.

Yes, it was nice to hear DD refer to Mike as somebody other than 'the bassist.' Even Dave acknowledges Mike's solidarity. Mikey bashers, fuck yourselves.

Interesting listen, but I still don't see the logic in touting a reunion and insulting Edward in the same breath....even if his comments are accurate, which these days, concerning Edward, are more often true than not, evidently.
