Default Anyone remember the days of trying to get through on this?

    http://www.iloveallaccess.com/checkp...p?iArtistId=33

I remember sweating it out thinking it would crash from all the horror stories that I read on here when I logged on to get my tickets for the Louisville, KY show. But all was well when I used it. Anyone want to bring up any old stories from this?

    Oh.........do I.

I had a client waiting to finish up a project and me and a fellow producer were so wrapped up in trying to get the tickets that we just kind of blew him off as we diverted our attention to the website and that moment in time.

He happen to be an old rocker and thought it was pretty cool seeing two 30 somethings high fiving over $150 tickets like we just "lucked" out.
Actually I think most of us are Dave, Sam, and Mike fans. There's just a small group of people who have strange allegiances and like to get into petty pissing contests that I can't believe everyone on this site isn't bored of. - Brett

I missed a meeting sitting at my desk at work for 2 hours trying to get on when we all crashed the website. Everyone knew why I missed the meeting and I didn't care. Dropped a cool $900 bucks and that was only the beginning of my VH adventure of 2004.
Sammy did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it.
Michael did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it.

Q: who was the biggest douche that you have worked with?

A: Eddie Van Halen hands down he threatened all the stage hands that if we wernt all pushed to the side when he got off stage that he would "bash our faces in"

Now the new David-Lee-Roth-Van Halen album, “Tokyo Dome In Concert,” is available for purchase, and it’s super, super, super, super, super, super, crazy bad. - Doug Elfman

    How cute.

I don't have one of those stories tho cause we just walked up to the ticket office and bought whatever was left right before the show started. Funnily enough, the show wasn't sold out. It was pretty full tho so I guess they released whatever they had at the last minute. But I dunno how all that works.

Maybe just don't address it to Edward and it won't get closed.

This makes me pissed to remember because I couldn't get on the website so no 5 Star. I then depended on someone who usually gets fantastic tickets to get me a couple. I wasn't in the nose bleed but I certainly wasn't as close as I wanted to be (then again, I don't think they offered seating on Edward's lap, LOL)

It makes me even more upset that it could have been my last chance. I had an awesome time anyway getting ripped and standing, singing every single song but can't help thinking what could have been.

You'll see them again, hopefully from Eddie's lap or close by, after Sammy's solo tour is done.

Remember this, said by Eddie this year in Hit Parader:

HP: And none of the past "problems" with Hagar cropped up?

EVH: Hey, it's been great. Sammy is Sammy, and for the most part that's just fine with me.

Singers have always been a different breed, but I think we've all developed a pretty good understanding of one another.

Sammy said they'll do it again, he's still on the official site, so I think it's a matter of some more time btw last tour and working together again.

Eddie just needs to relax and keep writing and apologize to both Sam and Mike and get the ball rolling late this year.

    I hope!

On Edward's lap, ya think? I would get a second mortgage on the house to make that happen, LOL. James, I love your optimism, keepin the dream alive my friend.

    They ain't dead yet!

Sammy late last year on VH returning with him singing:

"If their lifestyle could fit in with mine then I would have no problem doing it again. I think it is inevitable.

If Eddie wants to be friends again and not do this just for business or for other kinds of reasons...but if he wants to do it and do it for the right reasons and get together on a really good level then I would do it.

There were too many rules — let's put it like that for me.

Right now, it is over for me but if they want to do it on real terms and with no rules and no business shit then I am fine."

If Sammy comes back, Mike will, too. Sammy hasn't shut the door.
    Neither has Eddie or Alex.
    So we'll see!

I think the last tour 2004 was about playing the hits for the fans and getting back out there and fun.

I hope the next tour, if there is one, will be about the NEW music, new incredible music!
