    Default All We Are Saying

I caught this movie called All We Are Saying on Showtime tonight (3/8). It was very good, tons of artists talking about anything and everything music related. Below is some info I got from the movie's offical site. It's a movie worth checking out.

    SYNOPSIS

All We Are Saying is a compelling, personal look at what makes musicians tick. Rosanna Arquette follows up her critically acclaimed documentary directorial debut, Searching for Debra Winger, with a look into the psyches of some of the top musical artists of the day.
Through a series of intimate conversations, over fifty musical legends, hot new artists and music industry insiders reveal what inspires them, their personal struggles of balancing relationships and family while working on the road and the state of the music business in the 21 st Century. Presented as an ongoing, casual conversation, the film offers a unique insight into the artists most candid and personal thoughts.
All We Are Saying is a new powerhouse documentary by acclaimed actor and director Rosanna Arquette. The film is a compilation of thousands of hours of footage from in-depth personal interviews with some of the greatest icons in music history. In trusting Rosanna, these artists reveal their personal journeys in business and in life. You will hear Chrissie Hynde talk about wearing a nursing bra on stage to Flea discussing why downloading isn't a problem for him. The film takes the usual “behind-the-curtain” exposé to an entirely new level, revealing the deep truths about the people we often don't hear from. Arquette is a critically acclaimed actor and director. Her first film, Searching For Debra Winger, premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and featured some of the greatest female actors of our time. Her new film, All We Are Saying, is a powerful follow up. Featuring over forty of the greatest musicians in music, it follows their personal stories and documents their journey in business and in life.

Yeah, that was pretty cool to see. It was fun watching Roger Daltery tell all those bands they sucked the first day. I would have thought Blades was a big Cheap Trick fan the way he threw that hissy fit over I Want You To Want Me.
