Default Supergroup - The Reality TV Show

Got this from Melodic Rock. On paper, the group looks pretty good. I'd be keen to hear the results:

VH1 START FILMING SUPERGROUP REALITY SERIES:
Exclusive - Stand by for a new reality TV show. VH1 commenced filming on their new show - tentatively titled Supergoup - this week in Las Vegas.
The premise of the show is to lock several musicians in a house for 10 days and get them to write and record some new original music. Originally the network wanted the group to record an album, but at this time it is understood they will settle for one song and hope for more.
So just who makes up this supergroup which has until now, been kept under wraps? The line-up is: Scott Ian (Anthrax) - Guitar; Ted Nugent - Guitar; Evan Seinfeld (Biohazard) - Bass; Sebastian Bach (ex-Skid Row) - Vocals and Jason Bonham (Bonham, UFO, Foreigner) - Drums.
In addition to the 5 musicians, star manager Doc McGhee is in charge and is also living in the house for the duration of filming/recording.
The show will air on VH1 in later this year.

Be good if the line-up consisted of:

    Edward Van Halen
    Alex Van Halen
    Michael Anthony

    David Lee Roth and/or
    Sammy Hagar
Bobby Cohn: Who's going to be at Waynestock?
Wayne Campbell: Um, uh...Aerosmith & Pearl Jam!
Garth Algar: Ha ha ha ha ho!
    Bobby: Who else?
    Garth: Uh, me...and...and Wayne...
    Wayne: ...and uh...VAN HALEN!!!
Garth: Wow. Van Halen. Who else?
    Bobby: Yeah, who else?
Wayne: Uh, an old man fashioning a kayak out of a log?

Does this have Trainwreck written all over it or what? Doesn't Even Sienfeld do porn now with his wife? And does Scott Ian have a contract to show up on everything VH1 does? Why doesn't VH1 spend some money and do another season of "Bands on the Run" That Flickerstick band turned out to be pretty good.

And Ted Nuget? Doesn't he have a leg to finish hacking off with a chainsaw. Ted do us all a favor and GO AWAY. Cant wait to see who Ted picks a fight with.

Ian, Bonzo Jr, and the Nuge?

    Shit, I'd watch this.

I wonder how many episodes it will take before Ted skins that ass-clown Bach?

agreed! i really liked that show and i jammed the flickerstick cd many many times. i think that "beautiful" might be one of the best rock songs in a long time.
as for the show. i heard that the logistics of the show made it almost impossible to do another one. its a shame though.

I was thinking the same thing, Baz has always had a chip on his shoulder, but nothing about this is exciting. Especially Scott Ian. Anthrax was crap in the '80's and they're still crap today.

Actually Sebastion went to Nugents ranch and filmed it for a show. Went hunting with him and ate some game. I thought they liked each other.

I think Scott Ian will have the problem with Nugent.

Yeah Sebastian even put that show on the extras of his live DVD! So for sure they are friends. I am a fan of Bach from Skid Row and Nugent from The Damn Yankees, so I will watch this.

I really like that Flickerstick CD, too.

I thought Andrew said on Melodicrock that VH1 filmed a new Bands On The Run pilot not that long ago but they changed the concept from unsigned bands to washed-up 80's hair bands. Faster Pussycat was one band that took part, don't know of any others.

Hmm. Nothing "super" about this group.
    Doesn't mean I won't watch, though.

    So, did we see it?
Seems like Ian and Bonham are taking heed of the adage : better to keep
silent and have people think you're a fool than to open your mouth and
remove all doubt - or something like that - as Ted, Bas and that other
bald guy are in a three-way heat to see who can utter the most stupid
things per episode. OK, so we knew Bas was a brainless egomaniac who
laffs like a retarded schoolgirl at his own stupid OLD jokes, but I thought
Ted was smarter than this. I was wrong. Could he be more of an ignorant
    asshole?

Tuned in very briefly last night. Wasn't too impressed with what I saw, or heard. Gonna tune in next week though to see what kinda music these guys come up with, but it doesn't really seem like a fit to me.

did anyone see Eddie's Charvel in the Bach's room. He walks in and says something like "I almost thought Eddie Van Halen was here". I made it about 2 more minutes. What bunch of crap.

I missed Ed's Charvel. I do know that Seb has pretty good VH bootlegs collection, and his comic collection is top notch as well.
