It would be hard for me to accept anyone else except maybe Sammy.
I would only be a casual fan at best if it was neither of them.
But I really believe that it will be Dave so lets have happy thoughts.

I was watching VH1 last night and saw Steven Tyler. Thought he'd be good since he and Dave are alike in some ways. It'd suck though. If Steven Tyler left Aerosmith, there would be NO Aerosmith. If it weren't for that, it'd be great to see Mr. Tyler with them, one reason being since he helped influence early VH. Dave or Sammy would be best.

I'm loyal. I'll buy the next Van Halen album no matter who the singer is and I'll buy the next DLR project no matter who the band is.

Loyalty is a two way street. If Eddie and the boys were to disrespect the fans yet again after nearly a full year of silence and come out with yet another unqualified singer, they aren't showing much loyalty to the fans who supported them for decades.

I didn't jump ship during the Van Hagar era despite all the cheese ballads, and lyrical crimes such as Spanked, Amsterdam, Big Fat Money etc. I honestly tried to listen to VD III, despite my outrage at the 96 bullshit. If it had been a good album, I might have even bought it.

Today I'm feeling shafted by another musical institution that I have supported for over 20 years, so this may not be the best day to ask me this question. But here goes my irrevocable statement....

If anybody other than David Lee Roth is singing on that album, I will not buy it, or any other "Van Halen" album ever again...

But we all know that isn't going to happen, don't we

Yes FORD we know that is not going to happen. My left nut could be the new singer and you would still by the album. So would I. The music would sound real BALLSY! I truely believe Roth will be back. But, my mind changes every 5 minutes so who gives a shit what I think. I'm just a moron on the internet trying to entertain myself and others. I like the internet because it opens up doors and creates environments that anyone can enjoy. If you are a VH fan you can go to VHLinks or if your a queer you can go to a homo chatroom or if you are a Queen fan you can go to a homo chatroom or if you are a Backstreet Boys fan you can go to a homo chatroom or if you are a Metallica fan you can go to a homo chatroom. Ya get my point bro.?Peace out.

What does loyal mean? If I hear something and it sounds good then I'll probably buy the album, but it won't be first day, first in line.

If they tour w/o Dave it will be in small venues so I might go just to get close to the band. But yeah I'd be disppointed - I'd probably revert to the same indifference I had from 96-99 and listen to the old stuff.

Hopefully Mitch Malloy is back in the fold, that way we have youthful exuberance, quality singing, poetic lyricism, and a stage presence not seen since 1985.

Don't worry, the doctor says my medication will kick in any minute now....

I got just the medication for ya. My foot up you ass! Just joking, that was pretty fuckin funny girl. Why not get the blonde hair prissy looking fucker from Backseet Boys. He could get that 12 year old little girl audience that could really help VH sell a lot of fucking albums and sold out concerts. But, the concerts would have to start earlier so the little girls won't break curfue. By the way, QUEEN sucks donkey dick.Peace out.

The thing is, if any of the key parties pops their head up right now and says it didn't work, it'll be next to impossible to discern who was the reason for the inability to co-exist.

So, if Dave isn't coming back, and what is taking place right now is deception, then Dave is taking part in it as well. If VH owes a level of honesty to their fans, Dave does also. So if VH should be boycotted for misleading and not providing the fans what a majority of them want, should Dave's next project be boycotted also?
