Default WTF..No Van Halen Period at my Local Wal Mart and the Carts are Junk

OK, So I go to the freakin' local Wal Mart Super Center in my town of about 17K. As this is no breaking news, in many towns, W-M has pretty much run several of the "Mom's & Pop's" and others out of business and so, this has become "the" place to go. I understand they have so called "every day low prices" BUT, what about their selection and customer service?

Please allow me to vent....I'm not saying I'm not gonna shop there again. I mean C'mon, how can we not these days...

So.....I get a cart...F*ckn rattle trap with one wheel "hoppin'( you know the deal). I push it about 30 FT and return it for another. Get another and ...yep! It's f*ckn the same deal, so I leave it in the freakin' isle and get another one and......yep you guessed it. another f*ckn rattle cart from hell. I left it in the isle as well and thought. this is bullsh*t.... Where in the hell in the Maintenance Dep't on these contraptions?...Prolly where the floor customer service people are ...AIN'T GOT NO!!!...

Anyway, so I'm cartless and I go to the music section. I'm aiming to replace my Van Halen I CD but know it's a far cry(only place in town that sells CD's). Well, not only did they not have it ...they had NO Van Halen. ZERO... Not even a f*ckn card where their CD's should be. Oh, but they did have VANilla Ice

So, as I'm literally venting to my self out out loud as I proceed to the 1/4 mile journey to get charcoal, kitty litter and beer (yep they're runnin' the beer stores out too) I know I got to have a cart so, at the other end of the store ,I go to get ANOTHER cart.....When you get the cart there at the entrances with carpet, you don't know how she's goona ride...But guess what...YEP. another Sh*tty, bangin',clangin' piece of dog sh*t. Now I'm beyond frustration as I zoom towards the goods I need, slinging them in this sorry excuse for a shopping cart. All the while, hearing and seeing others with cart wheels with flats ground on them ringing throughout the isles. Many look frustrated and lost, looking for that person with a "How May I Help You" vest.

BTW....It smelled like someone farted in most of the isles there too

Come on Wal Mart.... if your taking over our local shopping and force us to use these cart lemons,...Please carry some damn Van Halen..

Yeah, our Wal-Mart smells like cigarettes and ass But they usually have most of VH's catalog.

Now I shop at Target for the most part, it's clean, not a clusterfuck shithole like Wal-mart.

Wow AxeB, you don't sound like a happy shopper a 'tall. Poor guy.

I think we can all relate to your Wally World experience tho. I can never find any of the music I'm lookin for there except for the new stuff and that's slim for me since I'm not into any new stuff. I definitely gave up looking for VH there. I usually end up at Circuit City, Best Buy or Tower to find anything decent. There's a Recycled Records shop that has some pretty good tuneage too.

One of these days I'm gonna have to trek down to the City By The Bay to find the good stuff tho.
But yeah, da Mart can definitely do with some sprucin up. It's like shoppin for the unwashed masses isn't it?? Targe' is pretty good, at least the carts work.

Yeah Target has great carts. What sucks for me is that I'm 50 miles from Target, Best Buy Circiut City and hell, most other decent stores for that matter...

Something else about my local Wal-Mart, more than once, they've had NO carts inside. I've had to go back outside and get my own damn piece of crap cart from the parking lot. Also, they have like 20 something freakin' check out lines and many times there's only like a half dozen open.

Not to yank your chain too much, but have you ever tried the self-checkout??? It sucks!!!!

And you're not the only one who's had to send someone out to fetch a cart, I'm lucky b/c my daughter usually does that for me.

Poor AxeB. Crappy Sprawl Mart, no music. I really feel for ya bud.

You can get almost anything online, click click click shipped righ to the door. Sometimes free shipping on top of that.

Can you put a price on not standing in line and smelling funk de' wal-mart?
