    Default Nostalgic

For some reason I woke up this morning rembering back to the spring/summer of 2004 and they excitement I felt knowing it was going to be a summer of Van Halen in Concert. I actually drove from Louisville, KY to Greensboro and had floor seats for that first show and ended up seeing them 4 other times that summer. Kinda makes winter bearable thinking about to those summer nights when VH was rocking the stage once again. What I would give to see them come out again this summer but thats just not going to happen. Sorry for the trip down memory lane, but I was just feeling the VH mood this morning and missing my spring/summer time!!!

I hear ya man. That was a cool summer.

But hey, once that Kevin Federline album hits the stores, I'm sure a kick ass summer tour will follow, so we have that to look forward too!

I can assure you guys being 40yrs young and seeing VH
a whole bunch of times since 1980 I can assure you one thing..
They will be back in one form or another!!! Guaranteed 100%..
They always come back every 3-5 yrs weather its with a new
singer or Sam or somthing..But they always come back out of
there shell...Now of course with Dave that would be the ultimate!!
With Sam Id be happy with a new Record Id be thrilled!
Dont worry my fellow freinds the boys will be back sooner
    rather than later just watch!!!!

    Peace
    Tony

That magical feeling for VH is gone for me. 2004 sort of sealed the deal.

I enjoyed the show I saw, the albums will always be there. But they lost their shine and I don't see it returning.

Extremely overpriced concert, three tunes that didn't excite me enough to buy yet another 'hits' package, no sense of band unity. No sense that this had any chance of being sustained, and songs poor enough to make me wonder why I'd even want them to sustain it.

Judas Priest got back together, toured, made a record, toured again, released a live DVD, and just announced they are starting to write their next album.

Iron Maiden has put out two really solid records since Brucey returned. Also released DVD's, including one that features (GASP!!! ) their original singer.

Mick and Keith can bicker like little bitches (Keith calling Mick's solo album "Dogshit in the Doorway" for example) and still respect that they need each other.

    Van Halen? Well......
