I have heard all kinds of things about Dave's now infamous Jay Leno performance, mostly negative. But I never have got to hear or see it for my self. Does anyone out there have a copy of it that I could make a trade with? I don't have much as far as trading goes, but I have a few decent things. If anyone would be interested in helping in this matter, please let me know. Thanks.

I had it on tape, it's Dave's worst performance ever.
If I were you I wouldn't mind watching it, it's a shame Dave fall so down.

I remember my dad saying Dave looked like a clown, I was so upset because he was saying the truth, man, Dave in the 80's was IT, but on that period of time he was SHIT.

Now a days he ROCKS HARD!!!!!THANK GOD.

LONG LIVE DIAMOND DAVID LEE ROTH!!!!
    AND NOT ELVIS LEE ROTH.

Yeah, I remember reading an interview with Ed where he said he and Val watched it that night.

Ed said he just sat there, with his jaw dropped open, and an "Oh....My...God!" look on his face.

    I'da paid to see that!

"This is a lttle prayer dedicated to the separation of church and state. I guess if they are going to force those kids to pray in schools they might as well have a nice prayer like this: Our Father who art in heaven, and to the republic for which it stands, thy kingdom come, one nation indivisible as in heaven, give us this day as we forgive those who so proudly we hail. Crown thy good into temptation but deliver us from the twilight's last gleaming. Amen and Awomen. ."

I wonder... if we could get a time machine and bring back DLR from 1982 to see this performance, what would he say? "Hey man, that suit is you"?

    Ugh.

Beyond pathetic is the only description and I'm a Dave fan.

Nevertheless, it is only slightly worse than Ed's "Rainman" impression on Stern while promoting "3" or Sammy slathered with rib sauce (no joke) while hawking his tequila on Emeril on the Food Network.

I believe it was Gigalo or California Girls. How many years ago was it? I just remember Dave making a bong reference.

I know it was either 94' or 95'. It was around the time he was doing his Vegas thing.

Thanks. I'll have to watch it again, I don't remember it being that bad performance wise. I do remember Dave doing his schtick in the interview. That was a little too much.
