Default Unbelievable! Hot For Teacher live on "Whistle Test" video

I found this clip of a live version of this song which havent seen before. http://www.youtube.com/w/Van-Halen--...ch=van%20halen This is amazing! I was wondering if anyone else has seen this and are there more songs out there from this show or even the entire show? Where did this take place? What year? There's a ton of people at this show and its in the daytime so im guessing it was some sort of festival or something with more bands?

The best is if you watch that Les Paul Tribute video. About halfway through that guy does a Key-tar solo. What A TOOL!!!

I think that "tool" is actually Jan Hammer. Axel F, etc.

Mike Keneally looks goofy as fuck, but he is a great musician. Don't underestimate a musicians look....he'll make you sell your soul to the DEVIL.

That dude in the Les Paul jam was great at what he does....give him some credit.
But if you are only going for looks in a "musician"....see Poison and Wham big boy.
    Just go for it!

I have that clip somewhere on DVD. It's from their first "Monsters of Rock" show in Castle Donington, Leicestershire UK on August 8, 1984.
The DVD features also an interview from that same day with Dave and Al in some hotel. Very cool.

    Of course, it's August 18, I'm sorry.

    Axel F was Harold Faltmyer(sp?)

Jan Hammer was the Miami Vice Theme.

Either way the keytar was pretty lame.

Ahhh, the time when VH were demigods in the UK and the last performance before they neglected us for 9 long long years. I despair when I think that VH would have continued their success here but chose not to.. and then wondered why their fan base had dwindled when they came back again.

I can be such a bitter unforgiving bitch sometimes.. but then I missed out on the 5150, OU812 and FUCK tours... BASTARDS!!!

Yes, you are correct. VH should of supported their UK fan base by touring overseas. That is why Bon Jovi is so popular over there. Go figure. According to King Edward, Sammy didn't want to tour overseas. Its funny how VH immediately toured Europe with Gary and Sammy promptly followed suite.

I would kill to have a video of the entire Donnington show. Maybe some day they will come to their senses....but probably not.
