Well, I hear Mean Streets and Girl Gone Bad (Uh oh Uh Uh, Uh oh Uh Uh where DLR sings along after EVH's solo) in it... need to take out the VH CDs to find the other songs that are a part of this jam session. I think there is something from VHII in it, too. I must confess, I haven't listened to VH for 2 weeks (F.U.C.K. in its entirety) and it's been years since I've listened to the entire catalogue.

    G'damn!!!

To quote a really bad movie - This is like finding Moses's DVD collection!

The instrumental was fucking eardrum searing. And the alternate opening to Everybody Wants Some......Ed would re-use that opening riff later for his "Wild Life" soundtrack.

I actually picked up this CD back in the Summer of 1996 (aka the Summer of What Could Have been). I found it at a little record store in Downey called "Middle Earth Records" that used to have all kinds of obscure bootleg audio and video, until they got busted a few years back. I remember absolutley loving "Act Like It Hurts" the very first time I heard it, and I still dig it. It's got such a great groove to it. The album title on the actual disc is "Buns And Tits First". No joke.

I believe that one should also notice the absolute "In The Pocket" playing of the bass player, one Mike Anthony. Superb!

What? No, no, my friend...haven't you heard? Any Rothtard on top of his game will assure you that The Bassist didn't play on any of the studio albums...it's Ed playing the bass on all of 'em.

    Sheesh. Get your facts straight.

One should consider this: I am the biggest, most faithful Dave Roth/Original Van Halen fan on the planet.

Which is why I do not subscribe to the petty Dave/Sam slam sessions, as they are beneath my contempt.

I only wish others would follow suite.
