Default Tak Matsumoto and Eddie Van Halen

So I am downloading something with Tak Matsumoto, Japan's famed axeman and Eddie via eD2k I look at the time it had left... and it stuck at 51:50! Here is the link for anyone that wants it: It's 140 MB.

    ed2k://|file|(Tv)%20Eddie%20Van%20Halen,%20Tak%20Matsumot o%20(B'z)%20-%20(Jap%20Tv%20Show).mpg|147255612|B973B8771FC5E93 3AC2B94A5E053C923|/

I use eMule software(peer to peer)...It's pretty cool and ad free! Make sure to copy the entire link. It starts with "ed2k://" and ends with "|/"

Anyone know what "(Tv) Eddie Van Halen, Tak Matsumoto (B'z) - (Jap Tv Show).mpg" is? It just sounded cool. Probably an interview...meeting of the minds. I just hope it's in english!

I have heard a few clips of Tak's band B'z, in the 80's/90's it sounded like Hagar era VH, they even had a song that sounded JUST like Right Now.
Other stuff sounded like poppy progressive music with almost no guitar... My neighbor is Japanese and she said they are huge in Japan (like VH and Bon Jovi is here). Hard to get Tak's CD's here.

    That is cool.

The Tak Matsumoto Group album is very cool! Jack Blades and Eric Martin are an awesome combo! Great guitar in it too.
Right Now you're reading my post!

Oh that's right, I haven't heard the Tak album with Blades and Martin!
I forgot all about that because it wasn't sold here...to my knowledge.

That sounds like an awesome band kind of the Japanese version of Damn Yankees/Mr. Big supergroup kind of thing.

Oh man is it called TMG? It sounds like them, they have it on iTunes! I am so on it! Thanks for the reminder, I looked it up as I was typing this.

It is an interview with Eddie, the video for "Without You", and a video of B'z doing a cover of MSG's "Into the Arena".

    Yes you are definitely correct.

Half was in English...half was in Japanese. I don't think it was the full interview but it was pretty cool. It was right before the Winter 99 NAMM show and his release of the 5150 II/ VH III....I was actually at NAMM and met Eddie that year! Best fuckin day(s) of my life!

It seemed like Tak understood what Eddie was saying pretty much but he had a translator speak to Eddie.
If anyone downloaded this vid, I found the transcription in English (approx) I found here:

Enjoy. Even if you didn't download the vid, it is cool text to read!

Yes they are called TMG, and you have to get the album online, too bad huh? It's one of the best rock albums in years, and you can't even buy it in stores!

Yeah they are a supergroup, I am a big fan of Eric from Mr. Big and Jack from the Damn Yankees, so it is awesome to me that they are together on it!
