Where have you seen or heard about VH in the movies? I'll start with two that immediately come to mind.
-Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure-
When they tell each other they need to recruit EVH on guitar before they can be a superband.
-Airheads-
When Chaz asks the fake record co. exec. (cop) who he stood behind after the VH/DLR split, and the exec replies "Um...Van Halen?" Chaz replies, "Nope, he's a cop", the exec replies "Aw come on, they did alot of great stuff after Dave left the band!"Right Now...My gf is probably reading my posts.

Far too many. Saw The Wedding Singer again the other night, and I love the part where sandler's ex takes him home drunk and has his VHII tour shirt on and he says "Please get out of my Van Halen t-shirt before you jinx the band and they break up..."

I'll add the movie Varsity Blues where the team goes to a strip club to find one of their high school teachers on stage, and Hot for Teacher kicks in.

EVH: Definitely. Playing guitar was my sanctuary. It was the one place I could go to if I got fucked around by a girlfriend, or anyone else, for that matter. It still is. If there’s something I can’t deal with, I can just spend hours playing. It’s a God-given gift – I certainly don’t know where the ideas come from. They’re obviously given to you, and you have to keep your fingers moving and your mind quiet. I try my best to not think about thinking, so I can just let it flow. Because when I start thinking, forget it. <br />So....why he isn't playing guitar ? ? ?

twister was just on tv the other day - i've only seen bits and pieces before. but it seemed they made a real effort to feature "humans being" in the movie. and the song fit well, although i didn't care for the movie too much. between that and "respect the wind" it makes me wonder that eddie wouldn't be just as happy going the randy newman route and scoring films. he seems to have more experience than most musicians.

I'm a big Fargo fan too, great characters and story in every series. Funny, disturbing, shocking, satisfying, fantastic.
