Cliff Morrison: Jim's Son, Fact or Fiction?

Cliff Morrison & The Lizard Sun Band: 'Know Peaking’ US Re-Issue CD. This is the alleged son of Jim Morrison on his last attempt at a CD before his unfortunate jail sentence. It's the same CD that came out a few years before this (above - out of stock) but with the guitar of Robby Krieger’s son Waylon mixed in instead of the original Lizard Sun Band guitarist. Waylon was hired as a studio musician for the mixes and never actually joined Cliff’s band even through he is listed as such. Out of print. Cond: M

    One review of the CD...
He sounds more like Val Kilmer doing his bad imitation of Jim Morrison than Morrison himself. There are some good moments on the album, but mostly it's just laughable. "August Moon" is a good song. "Pick Up and Go" is pretty good. "Technology" is amusing, as we see Cliff's naive and retarded comments on the growth of technology over the decades. One can picture him with a needle in his arm in some crackhouse musing over the technological advancement of the TV he is about to steal for another trip to the copspot. His attempts to take on Morrison's prophetic quality are humorous at best: "Free the land/free the sand/the government is a crime." Uhhhuuhh. He needs to stop banging that s**t and realize he's no artist, Morrison's son or not. And I'm convinced he's not. If it turns out he is when they cut him loose, we should all have a National Morrison Mourning Day that this is Jim's spawn. The album is worth buying as a cabaret/drugged out/imitation Doors record. Hey, there aren't many of them around.

    What a disappointment.

I've read quite a few books about the Doors and Jim Morrison, read countless different theories about how he wasn't actually dead, from some goofy stories to some interesting facts but I've never ever read about him having a son.
He was married (Celtic ceremony and obviously NOT official marriage) to Patricia Kennealy and had a somewhat mantained relationship with Pamela Courson (died of overdose a few years later) and neither claimed they had a son with Jim.
Groupies? Well, just look at Diamond Dave's "daughter"...

It was a recent interview with her where she mentioned Cliff... Was the first I ever heard of it... The claim is that his Mom's dead from an OD too...

    Found some pix...

Who is the "her" to whom you refer??

Kinda hard to tell since he's got shades on.

Dunno bout this one. But he does have more than a passing 'semblance to Mr. Van Zandt, now that you mention it.

Who is actually this dude's mother anyway?
Bobby Cohn: Who's going to be at Waynestock?
Wayne Campbell: Um, uh...Aerosmith & Pearl Jam!
Garth Algar: Ha ha ha ha ho!
    Bobby: Who else?
    Garth: Uh, me...and...and Wayne...
    Wayne: ...and uh...VAN HALEN!!!
Garth: Wow. Van Halen. Who else?
    Bobby: Yeah, who else?
Wayne: Uh, an old man fashioning a kayak out of a log?

I thought Jim's son Bobby was the musician, as far as the mother....take your pick.
