4 weeks ago I found a used 2003 Marshall JCM 800 at a local music store. It was like brand new, the dude must have never played a gig (or at all) I swear.
My wife let me buy it for only $800 as my Christmas present. She was nice enough to let me pick up the cabinet that went with it (1960 A/V slant) for $400 and a used 5150 4X12 for $300. It all kicks ass and my wife rules. she understands my guitar playing is as much a sickness as it is my life!
I also got an EVH T-shirt (the one with him playing the 1984 Kramer with yellow zebra pants) and an idog.
As usual, there is a great woman behind every idiot.

She understands your guitar playing is your passion - and to have a partner who encourages a passion is a great thing.

As for me, my spouse is treating me to the upcoming Bon Jovi concert - row 30 no less. She's so good to me.

As for Santa duties, my oldest is pedaling a new Specialized (green flames and hand brakes like 'big boys' have) and my youngest is enthralled with his new Robosapien. To be honest, I think that thing's pretty cool, too.

    Trip to New Orleans
    Clothes

    "Suck a fat one, faggot."
-MikeL, showing off that sharp wit of his.

"You may recognize some of these chemicals. Let's start with cyanide...The one the Aum Shinrikyo cult attempted to use to commit mass murder in a Tokyo subway in May 1995...The same cyanide produced routinely--1.4 million tons per year--for use in the production of plastics, adhesives, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and so on. It seems that those who put small amounts of cyanide in subways are terrorists. But those who produce it in mass quantities and contaminate broad reaches of soil, water, and air, killing countless living beings, are not terrorists, but rather capitalists, and are counted among the finest and most powerful people on the planet."

-Derrick Jensen, "What We Leave Behind"

"You know what's weird to me is Christians who are against the death penalty. After all, if it weren't for the death penalty, we wouldn't celebrate Easter!"

    -the late, great, Bill Hicks
