    Cool quote,

"Michael has played on some of the most important records in rock history," Bobby explains, "so it was great to get in the studio with the guy and lay down some heavy grooves. Obviously, he plays his ass off, and I feel like we captured some real moments. Plus, we all had a blast working together, which is always a bonus."

Good for Mikey, I'm keen to hear the disc...
“And what we have at our fingertips is arguably one of the greatest high tenor voices ever – that was in Michael Anthony. In our tiny little corner of the universe, that voice is as identifiable as the high voice in Earth, Wind & Fire, as identifiable as the high voice in the Beach Boys. Van Halen is an indelicate house blend of both – that’s intentionally. So I would always look forward to that reunion.” - David Lee Roth

Whatever happened to that project with George Lynch?

When the album comes out, I wonder if the notes will say, "Michael Anthony appears courtesy of WB music/records..."

    An update...

    http://www.neilzaza.com

Neil Zaza's August 15th CD release "When Gravity Fails" features an all-star lineup: Michael Anthony (Van Halen),
Peter Frampton, Roger Joseph Manning Jr. (Jellyfish, Imperial Drag, Beck),
Jordan Rudess (Dream Theater), Steve Smith (Vital Information, Journey),
T.M. Stevens (Miles Davis, James Brown, Billy Joel, Joe Cocker),
Garry "GMan" Sullivan (Bernie Worrell, The B52's), Ross Valory (Journey).

The new songs are nothing like you've heard before.

With hard-driving rhythms that have an in-your-face live attitude,
mixed with some funk, balladry and very lush orchestrations,
...it is sure to be hugely influential in the world of instrumental music and the definitive album from Neil Zaza.

I had the pleasure of going to a guitar clinic several yrs ago that Neil Zaza put on here
in a little music store in PA. Hes very good and highly influenced by EVH. He should be in a band touring and selling out arenas but talented young guitarists dont seem to be in demand. Iam going to get this cd.
