    Yes, he was chosen to produce the album and, I may have my facts screwed up, but didnt he go on tour for awhile and VH just recorded and did some producing for the album without him? Its a great album and a great addition to his resume.

    Mick Jones was the name producer of the album, but that was only to satisfy Warner Brothers, who didn't trust Van Halen to get the album released on time. The truth is that Jones was busy with Foreigner at the time, leaving the band to do most of the production, although he did have a major hand in "Dreams". If I recall correctly, the music that is the chorus was originally part of the verse.

    Or something like that.
