    Default Predictions .. .

So, it's 11/17/05. It's been predictably quite around the VH camp for a little over a year. I'm interested in people's prediction.

What do you think will happen in the end? Will VH flame out or just simply fade into nothing?

Obviously, as a group, they have been musically and culturally irrelevant for about 10 years (I happen to like III and wish they'd continued on, b/c at least it was new stuff).

My prediction? They're done. EVH won't recover enough to have the organization and emotional focus to make new music that's relevant. I'm not tryin' to rip the guy. I know he has a lot of stuff to take care of.

VH officially goes to sleep...EVH pops up here and there, occassionally on other's albums..him and alex and wolfie record ten albums worth of stuff, but release none of it..
if ed makes it another 7 yrs, then after doing others albums, he will get together with al and wolf and someone else and put out an album called "We are family", gets sued by the pointer sisters and end up settling out of court.

Didn't someone around here ponder on what it must be like to be the fan of a normal group?? And here we are drought or not.

Well, I'm gonna remain optimistic until we hear otherwise. To me VH will never die, their music's too great!!

Yes, that was me. I wondered what it must be like to be a fan of a group like U2(who played two shows here last weekend) or Aerosmith(who were just announced for January). Instead, we get the sounds of silence.

I'll always keep hope alive for the greatest show on earth to return, but If it happens, which I doubt, it's probably a couple of years down the road.

I believe Bon Jovi is the best band to be a fan of in this moment of time statistically speaking.

I think Eddie/Alex will call Sammy and invite him to 5150 sometime later next year to hear the INCREDIBLE new music they are working on...

They will record a full cd and hit the road Spring 2007.
