Default One more DVD question (poll)

Which do you prefer? Wide Screen or Full Screen?

Wide Screen is ok for me for my Big Screen, but it's a pain on a
    smaller TV.

I've never understood wanting to watch 16:9 movies recast for 4:3 through pan and scan. You lose so much of the film. What's the point?

For me, it depends on the film. I know if I'm watching say big epic films like Lawrence Of Arabia or The Bridge On The River Kwai, then I would want wide screen format for full effect. If I'm watching your average flick then full screen for me.

    Bobby: Who else?

    Wayne: ...and uh...VAN HALEN!!!
Garth: Wow. Van Halen. Who else?
    Bobby: Yeah, who else?

    I can't handle the pan & scan!

    [ w i d e s c r e e n ]

Funny thing is I was once told by some pimple-faced Best Buy sales associate that the industry was dumping the widescreen format. That was several years ago.

Depends on the movie. I'm partial to full screen over wide screen tho.
