Cool pics. That line up just looks kick ass.

Cool seeing Eddie with the tobacco sunburst Wolf. What an axe!

It seems to be around this time. Look at the one where he's playing the acoustic, he's starting to show some age. I think the whole situation with Dave coming on the heels of Sam leaving to the bashing of III took it's toll and continued on with the health issues/Valerie leaving.

But I agree with SEA, hot damn he's sexy! Thanks for posting voivod.

You have to think that its been 8 years since these pics. Compare Eddie in these pictures to ones from around OU812 which was about 8 years. The VH3 Eddie looks pretty old in comparison.

Close ups from the VH3 definitely show his age catching up with him.

i saw him from 2 feet on the last tour, from the rings...you almost wouldnt recognize him in ordinary circumstances...
his hands though, they struck me the most. i hope he doesnt have arthritis or anything..they look all mangled and gnarly...maybe from always playing..

the playing on the III tour though,..it was my wife's first VH concert and he lived up and surpassed all the hype..even she was struck by him

His playing on the III tour was by FAR some of the best I've ever heard him do in person...

i think when Ed is inspired, he is all that and more...which is what i chalk up the last tour to..uninspired...

which is why id like to hear a whole new direction..

during thw concert in the rings last yr, i was yelling to ed..."i love d III, just play whatever you want..im there for you"..as if i was communicating with the guy!!
he was drunk i was way buzzed...i probably didnt even make a sound..i just thought i did!!!

Forget the pics, how about the fact that there's a website called "Cherone.com"?

Fantastic voice for covering VH tunes, had some great Extreme tunes, but man, on stage with VH he was the gayest thing on two legs I've ever seen. So NOT Van Halen.

I've said it before...VH had a chance to really go somewhere cool with Cherone. 3 wasn't formula and it was the most creative VH has been since Fair Warning...
