    Sad attendance figures...

I went to see "Larry the Cable Guy" last night and noticed something kind of sad...there were more people at Larry's show than at two of the Van Halen shows I saw last year. He was performing at a venue that holds somewhere between 12 and 13,000 and had the place three-quarters full.

The guy is hilarious and I really enjoyed the show, but the whole time I was looking around thinking...Van Halen had less people than this at their show?!? What is wrong with the world when a redneck comedian, even a hilarious one, sells out a stadium better than Van Halen?

Anyhow, no real point to this, just an observation.

ps Larry made less mistakes on the guitar than Eddie, too. J/K

Some of the best shows I've seen in my life have been club shows with an unknown band working their asses off.

10 people or 10,000 people, doesn't make a difference to me.
Actually I think most of us are Dave, Sam, and Mike fans. There's just a small group of people who have strange allegiances and like to get into petty pissing contests that I can't believe everyone on this site isn't bored of. - Brett

But VH split the crowd between 2 shows. If they only had one I suspect it would be a different matter.

Isn't his 15 minutes of fame up? His jokes are wearing thin quicker than
    Jeff Foxworthy's did.
