Default Mike Myers Hoping for Austin Powers 4

Mike Myers Hoping for Austin Powers 4
Source: Entertainment Weekly October 12, 2005

Mike Myers, former Saturday Night Live star and the voice of Shrek, tells Entertainment Weekly that he is discussing a fourth "Austin Powers" movie.

"There is hope!" says Myers about the popular comedy franchise. "We're all circling and talking to each other. I miss doing the characters." The first three films have earned a massive $675 million worldwide, so New Line Cinema is probably looking forward to another installment as well - and what better time than with a new James Bond movie on the way?

Myers recently signed up to play Keith Moon in a new biopic about the Who drummer. He will also voice Shrek 4 for DreamWorks Animation.

I can't really say this pond has been fished dry, cause all 3 of them have been hillarious.

I just wonder who they'll get as the girl since they've hit home runs on the other ones.

Agree 100%. It's not like they get any less funny! Goldmember was an ingenius character who was creepily hilarious! I heard that he would be going back to the 80's but who knows? Either way...PLEASE make another!

I'm more interested in the Keith Moon bio-pic. That sounds promising.

Not to me...imagine: Will Ferrell as John Entwhistle, Owen Wilson as Roger Daltrey and Ben Stiller as Pete Townsend.

Add in Chris Rock as Jimi Hendrix, Vince Vaughn as Paul MacCartney...

That's simply too fucking weird, I need to lay off of this cold medicine.

Craig, the cold medicine is in the medicine cabinet in the bathroom, not in the pipe on your coffee table.

    Pretty funny though!

This would be awesome, I"ve been hoping they'd announce the filming of a fourth AP flick
    "Suck a fat one, faggot."
-MikeL, showing off that sharp wit of his.

"You may recognize some of these chemicals. Let's start with cyanide...The one the Aum Shinrikyo cult attempted to use to commit mass murder in a Tokyo subway in May 1995...The same cyanide produced routinely--1.4 million tons per year--for use in the production of plastics, adhesives, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and so on. It seems that those who put small amounts of cyanide in subways are terrorists. But those who produce it in mass quantities and contaminate broad reaches of soil, water, and air, killing countless living beings, are not terrorists, but rather capitalists, and are counted among the finest and most powerful people on the planet."

-Derrick Jensen, "What We Leave Behind"

"You know what's weird to me is Christians who are against the death penalty. After all, if it weren't for the death penalty, we wouldn't celebrate Easter!"
