I trekked up to Chicago to check out Farm Aid last Sunday. I'd never been to one before, and so I wasn't prepared for it being over 11 hours!

Highlights were Wilco, Kenny Chesney, Mellancamp, and Willie Nelson. Lowlights were the aforementioned time - 11 hours is just grueling - the sound and view at the Tweeter Center (my view was partially blocked by a huge pole), and some of the setlists for some of the artists.

Since some artists only got to play 4-5 songs, you'd think they'd skip the whole, "here's a brand new song off of our new album..." bit and just play their hits. Nope.

Anyway, that's my take. Anyone else go?
