Default Bon Jovi fans win again

Hey everyone. I just picked up Bon Jovi's latest called "Have a Nice Day."

Got to my local record store and the owner says, "You've got a choice to make." Then shows me two versions of the release. One's the CD only. The other is a double sided disc, with side A featuring the music and side B featuring videos, concert footage (5 songs) and interviews.

I took the double-sided thing. Price tag: less than $20.

Eddie? Hello? Throw us a frickin' bone.

(Could you imagine a new full-length VH CD and on the other side footage from the 04 tour? For $20?)

Bah. I'll see VH soon. When they tour in 2012.

Must be great to be a die-hard fan of a band that actually produces stuff. That used to be the case for us, didn't it?

    Well? Is it any good?

Bon Jovi is a band I've never let alot of people know that I kinda like.

    Have A Nice Day
Blaze Of Glory (Young Guns 2)
    Dead Or Alive

Some of the other songs I've heard. I want to dislike them because
they seem like that band that you're mom would love, but some of the
    songs are just too catchy.

Bon Jovi is a good band. I'm not wild about some of their radio friendly hits, but what the hell...their recent releases (not This Left Feels Right), have had at least 4 to 5 good songs a piece. My wife and I don't miss them live when they come to town. Are they Van Halen talent-wise? No way, but they manage to keep going, God Bless Em.

    It was? When?
VH never put out cool stuff like that. Other than remixes, which they have very little to do with, VH has released exactly ONE "previously unreleased" song and never any behind the scenes footage.

The wife is a big Jovi fan, and I'll admit it, they do right to their fans. They put on a good live show (2+ hours with no solos) and typically give the fans good product to buy.
    Van Halen Live: 15 shows.

Bon Jovi is a band that I don't want to like...but I just do. Not too much of their newer stuff, but their older stuff (82-86) is good. Sambora is a great guitarist...and they take care of their fans. But you can't put on a Bon Jovi album anymore and listen all the way through...the album fillers really suck. I will never get excited for a Bon Jovi release, but will probably pick it up when its on sale for under $10. Lastly, I don't understand the hatred for Jovi on the links.

Bon Jovi suck donkeys dicks. It sickens me that the mighty Van Halen actually supported these lightweights in Europe.

Yes, it's great to be a Bon Jovi fan We've been getting music, videos, DVD's, demos, b-sides, a boxset, tours, and Dutch fans in particular an Album Release Party, since 2000, and they just keep on going. Here's hoping they can fill the entire decade from 2000 to 2010. Cheers to all Bon Jovi fans and a Have a nice day to the haters

What are the 5 concert songs that are included? Anyone catch their Crossroads episode on CMT with Bon Jovi and Sugarland? That rocked!
