try http://web.archive.org/web/200007110...site/road.html this loads kinda slow its the old web site from 90's
I used to wonder why he was grinning all the time(Michael Ian Black talkin about EVH on VH1 I love the 80's) but then i realized the reason he's grinning is because he's Eddie F*#king Van Halen

hmm.. is it really possible to play that many times as they did back in the eraly days ? Its almost every damn day !Andat the same place as well! And they earned 75bucks every time at the Gazzaris ! ( which was morethan 50 % av all gigs in the beginning ) they must have been rich !!!

That's like $20 a man, and what $100 a week maybe. That's even if they were paid for every show they played. You think that's a lot of money?

oh. Forgot that the 4 of them had to share it

But dont you think its a LOT of gigs ? Well, I guess its just that it was the 70s and 80s back then, and rock ( or music overall ) was much more populare in an other way than today. Im sad I dont live in that time.

Btw, what is happening nowadays in those places ? Like Whiskey a go go? Are there still manyh bands and a big scene? ( now i just asked against my previous believes ) But really, im interested. Where in the world is music (rock) as populare as in the 80s or 70s ?

those days are gone my friend
"People ask me 'Dave, what's it like to be a rock and roll star?" I tell them 'It's simple: in your mind, line up every woman you've ever been with. Got 'em there? well, I wouldn't fuck any of them.'" - DLR
