    Default VH on Sportscenter

Just thought you all should know a short Van Halen video clip was shown on sportscenter this morning.

" Like Van Halen after David Lee Roth the vermont baseball team carried on"

or something to that effect. If you read this today, you can still catch the short clip if you turn on sportscenter at :40 past 10, 11, or 12. Its really short, but, still nice to see it on TV.

What I was wondering is where this clip is from?
It appears to be Proshot. Maybe it was from a local news crew? Or is this from a longer Proshot video?????

I have seen around 20 DVDs from the 2004 tour, all Audience shot.

No offense to the thread starter, but I saw the clip last night and it was barely a blurb about VH. It wasn't something I thought was even worth mentioning but I guess that's the sad state of affairs when it qualifies as news. Man, sometimes I think we're all stumbling around in the desert, desperate for even the slightest drop of water.

Yeah, I'd say that pretty well sums it up.

ESPN seems to mention Van Halen whenever possible, either by columnists or by reporters.

Yes, Menlow is correct, I just figured someone would post it, so I decided I would get it over with.

Not sure where, but it appears to be pro-shot and I would guess from a local news crew. Bands (management) will often allow media to shoot the first song or two. Good PR.

I seen it last night. It was on the 50 states in 50 days thing they have going on where each day they report LIVE from a different state. They were reporting from Vermont in reference to the Vermont Expos Single A ball club and the once Montreal Expos.

First the '04 shot of Sammy and Eddie at the mic. "Like Van Halen after Dave left, they carried on the Expo name" Which lead into several Vermont players being asked questions about the Expos history.

Caught me off guard. I was like whoaaaa! and jumped for the volume control. I've seen the video and want to say Vegas but i'm not sure.
