    Default FM Radio Converter

This will most likely apply to guys in their late 30's or older...

Ok, anyone here ever install one of those FM radio converters in their parents car because it only had an AM radio??

I was 10 or 11 when I did in my Mom's 1979 Plymouth Volare wagon...
    Good Ole' Spark-O-Matic !!!

Only thought of this after essentially doing the same thing the other month with my wife's XM Radio Modulator receiver...

Nope. My parents buy new cars fairly regularly.

I got so fed up with the damned thing failing to stick to the velcro (and thus landing under the gas or brake pedal) that I finally went out and got a cassette player/FM.

Don't remind me of 8-tracks, and having to stick matchbooks in to get the warped things to play!

Man, I can relate with that one. I especially liked the track change in the middle of the song!

It seemed like all tape players back then were those add on "under dash" models....Hey "Craig" remember the "Craig" Power Play?
