My advice: Join the 21st century and get XM radio. Just a suggestion though!

Add another layer of tin foil to your hat??

Here are some formulas you can use to design your own AM loop antenna:

    where:
    • fo is the resonant frequency in Hz
    • L is the inductance of the loop in Henries
    • C is the capacitance of the loop in Farads
    or

    Where:
    • L is the loop inductance in mH
    • A is the length of one side of the loop in cm
    • B is the loop depth (thickness) in cm
    • N is the number of turns
    finally

    Where:
    • L is the loop inductance in H
    • N is the number of turns
    • w is the loop length in cm
    • h is the loop height in cm
    • a is the radius of the spacing between wires (equal to the wire radius for adjacent winding, equal to 0.0635 for 0.127 (.050 inch) spaced ribbon cable, etc.
    • mr is the relative permeability of the medium - just use 1
    • mo is a physical constant - the permability of a vaccuum: mo = 4p*10-7 T2m3/J = 12.566370614*10-7
    Good luck
A little more volume in the headphones please.

In other words, run a wire from your reciever, attatch the other end to a coat hanger, and throw it on your roof.

Most stations let you listen over the Internet. If it's a syndicated show, you can almost always find a way to do that.

This company http://www.ccrane.com/ sells some really cool radios & antenna. You can request their catalogue on the left side of the page. it's free and definitelty worth it....

This radio http://www.ccrane.com/radios/am-fm-r...radio-iii.aspx is worth the price. I had one for a long time and it actually has a dial on it so you can work on picking up a certain signal.

CC's idea works too! It's worth a try....

From 3-13 to 10-6 and NFC South Champs.....go Saints!
