Well now that we know that VH are on hiatus, indesposed, out of action whatever..
if you could freeze time and keep VH in your favourite time and space, what would it be??
For me it would be from the time they started touring behind Fair Warning may '81)right through till the end of the 1984 tour,(july '84)...that's three fuckin' great years folks..

I'll pick 1980 to 1981.

Now where the hell is Dr. Brown with the Delorean?

I'd like to go back to early 1981 and take another shot at that concert in Portland - maybe this time I'd do it right and actually get to see some of the show!

Oh, I've told it before but it's basically it was my first concert, general admission and I zooped right up to the front. While the Fools were playing I was fine, but as soon as Van Halen came out I began to get squished and contorted until I could no longer stand it and spent the middle of the show attempting to extricate myself from the mass of humanity. Once I did, of course, all the good seats were taken and I was left with no choice but to watch the remainder of the show from way in the back of the arena, standing on like a concrete support. This being the age before giant video screens, the band was reduced to little tiny specks from that point on! So if I could do it all over again I would probably find a seat with a good view of the stage and be able to stay put!

My two favorite eras are probably 1984 and 1995. But it would be cool to go back to 1981 when they weren't quite as famous and the egos weren't so large.

I can't tell you how much I would LOVE to travel back in time and see the band in '76 or '77. I would still be 19, of course.

I'm thinking freeze the moment of 1986-1995.

Well duh, I'd never have to go through the confusion, crap, and disappointment of '96

I'd love to freeze '95 as well, but I don't think the band was happy then.

Right now it seems like we've been frozen in the same place since November '99! Come on VH, we're waiting for you to defrost.
